Jorge Sandoval is a master of Lutherie and very known in his home country Venezuela for his Cuatro Venezulano. We admire his Ukes in regard of tone, appearance and value. You'll get a fascinating masterpiece at a very attractive price.
This custom Uke comes with back and sides from Venezuelan Laurelwood and a German Spruce soundboard. The tone is well balanced and the light weight creates a present sound with very good projection. The neck is built from Mahagony and is not too thin. The slightly radiussed fretboard is easy to play. Gotoh Tuners keep the strings in tune.
The highgloss finish is not too solid but perfectly balanced with focus on tone.
Decent details on the endblock as well as the slightly oval rosette making the appearance of this Uke outstanding from the crowd. This instrument will be shipped with a solid case.
